|a A novel technique for the derivation of the current distrbutions on array antenna elements is presented. The analysis is carried out for an array of loops with arbitrary circunferences and spacings. The simultaneous integral-differential equations describing the array are reduced to a set of linear simultaneous equations by Fast Fourier Transformation and deconvolution of the Green's function and the driving condition. It is shown that numerical implementation of this solution is relatively simple and requires short computational time and moderate storage memory. The results for simple cases are compared to previously available data. Several computed curves of the gain, front to back ratio, and input impedance corresponding to arrays of two and three element loop antennas are given. Some radiation patterns are also shown. This data is further experimentally substantiated.
