Roger Stern (born September 17, 1950) is an American comic book author and novelist. He is best known for his work on ''The Amazing Spider-Man'', ''The Avengers'', ''Captain America'', and ''Doctor Strange'' for Marvel Comics and for his work on Superman for DC Comics including "The Death of Superman" storyline.Among the comic characters Stern co-created are Nebula, Monica Rambeau, Doomsday, Hobgoblin and Maxima.
